高分五号DPC数据的云参量反演研究

Research on cloud parameter retrieval based on Gaofen-5 DPC data

摘要: 云是由大气中的水蒸气在遇冷液化或凝华的过程中形成的水滴和冰晶凝结物, 覆盖了约67.5%的地球上空表 面积, 在全球大气环流和辐射能量平衡中起着重要作用。精确地识别云并进行云参量的研究有助于了解地球辐射收 支、水文循环和气候变化。高分五号卫星搭载的多角度偏振成像仪 (DPC) 具有多光谱、多角度和偏振等多项探测能 力, 为云研究提供了一种强有力的工具。本研究利用DPC在小粒子、亮地表和多角度探测等方面的优势, 研制出了6 个云产品, 即云检测、云置信度划分、云相态反演、云光学厚度反演、云三维结构重建和污染云的识别。与其他相关卫 星遥感产品的对比表明DPC的相关云产品具有较高的精度, 其中云三维结构重建与污染云识别两项产品为创新性云 产品, 充分体现了偏振传感器的独特优势, 有效地拓展了国产卫星数据的应用范围。

Abstract: Clouds are formed from water droplets and ice crystals generated when water vapor in the atmosphere condenses or sublimates upon cooling. They cover approximately 67.5% of the Earth's surface area and play a significant role in global atmospheric circulation and energy balance. Accurate cloud identification and the study of cloud parameters can contribute greatly to our understanding of the Earth's radiation budget, hydrological cycle, and climate change. The directional polarimetric camera (DPC) carried by the Gaofen-5 satellite has multiple detection capabilities, including multi-spectral, multi-angle, and polarimetric capabilities, providing a powerful tool for cloud research. This study utilizes the characteristics of DPC in small particles, bright surfaces, and multi-angle polarimetry dedection to develop six cloud products, namely cloud detection, cloud confidence classification, cloud phase retrieval, cloud optical thickness retrieval, cloud three-dimensional structure reconstruction, and pollution cloud identification. Comparison with other relevant satellite remote sensing products demonstrates that the cloud products derived from DPC have a high level of accuracy, among which the cloud three-dimensional structure reconstruction and pollution cloud identification stand out as innovative cloud products, showcasing the unique advantages of the polarimetric sensor of DPC and effectively expanding the application range of domestic satellite data.
