Abstract:

In order to satisfy the requirements of the orthogonal elliptical mirror space structures, the design process must grasp the main line of reliability requirements and conduct simulation. The initial plan is confirmed, glue point locations are aided designed by using ANSYS design optimization module, and the weight loss of frame is obtained by useing the topology optimization module. Finally, static and modal analysis and testing are carried out. The results show that the maximum stress value of the mirror is 1.5 MPa, the pad is 0.98 MPa, a first-order natural frequency is 181.8 Hz. All of them are within safety limits and meet the space requirements.
